Corinthian Coffee
In Corinthian Coffee, the mundane rituals of caffeine culture are transformed into an epic frieze of modern human behavior. Set across three tiers of activity, this 48" x 60" acrylic work uses the visual language of Greek black-figure pottery to satirize the "heroes" and "monsters" of the local coffee shop. From the baristas behind the counter to the patrons lost in their screens, each figure becomes a permanent character in a timeless, darkly humorous narrative about our collective search for connection—or just a decent cup of coffee.
